Dr. von Keller is the former President of Asia at Roland Berger Strategy
Consultants, working out of the firm’s offices in both Shanghai and
Beijing. Roland Berger employs more than 100 consultants in China and
advises major Chinese and multinational clients, among them several
international private equity firms, on their strategy, organisation,
marketing and operations strategy as well as due diligence support, M&A
and post-merger integration.
Dr. von Keller has more than 25 years of experience in corporate
strategy and management consulting with a focus on emerging markets.
Prior to joining Roland Berger, Dr. von Keller served as Director for
Corporate Strategy at Bertelsmann AG and also worked at the headquarters
of Siemens Corporation in Munich in addition to his position as Director
of the Foundation for International Studies at the University of St.
Gallen, which organizes the annual International Management Symposium.
His publications include several books and articles on cross-cultural
management, on management in the media industry, on privatisation and
economic transformation and on the development of China’s economy.
Dr. von Keller studied Law and Business administration in Geneva and St.
Gallen and graduated in 1974 at the University of St. Gallen where he
also earned his doctorate degree.
